I am a pet owner and lover, but when it comes to preparing your home for sale and the open house, there should be no evidence of your pet. Take them with you when you leave and put away all of their food, toys and accessories. Potential home buyers, especially non-pet owners, could be put off by evidence of your pet or by the pet itself.
