Living within our means not only applies to the dollars we spend, but also to our space. If you live in 2400 square feet and downsize into 1200 square feet; half of your stuff should go. Creating a comfortable environment to live in is done by creating space. If your home is jammed with stuff you are not living within your (space) means.
