When looking for your next ‘perfect’ home, create a checklist of needs versus wants. Write down the address of the home you are viewing and check your list accordingly.
After viewing even three homes you will find this helpful to keep what you saw in check.
For any woman that doesn’t know about Heather’s Boutique in New Westminster BC, it is well worth a visit.
Upon entering you will be greeted with a friendly hello. Seems like a familiar experience, but there is a culture quite unique here. A review of the rules will soon follow (I am not going to spoil your first experience).
Heather has been in business at 775 Sixth Street in New West for 14+ years and comes from a background in Fashion Manufacturing Management. You could not hope for a better set of eyes watching and assessing what you are wearing.
Heather quickly gets us into exactly the right clothing. She will tell you whether what you have put on is the right colour, size and style for your figure type. She truly is amazing.
Everything I have purchased at Heather’s fits perfectly, feels great on, and I absolutely love.
She caters to women 35 and up and has a great selection of contemporary styles ranging from denim and casual clothing to business and evening wear. Sizes range from 2-16, and the variety of styles fit our many
different figure types.
Shop local. Keep small business in business. Bigger chains low balling prices have conditioned us to believe if it is not on sale we are not getting a deal. None of them offer personal dressing service or expertise like Heather’s.
The real ‘deal’ here is the service, the fit, the know-how of making us look great, in an environment that truly supports and celebrates women!
The organizer in me LOVES the service Heather provides because it means less never worn items in clients’ closets (with tags still on them). It also takes the 80/20 rule (wearing 20% of our clothes 80% of the time) to a much, much higher number.

When looking for the perfect storage container consider everything in a particular category you are wanting to store. Can you get all of it into one container? If the items are heavy, you may need two or more smaller bins. Do you need to see the contents? You may want labelled clear bins. However solid colours may be preferred, depending on the items.
Consider: How much space you have; measure before you go. What do you need to store? Test the stack-ability of the containers. How easy will they be to lift once they are filled?
When adding more items to your storage spaces always consider what you may no longer need, and keep the flow of in-and-out going.
